Tiki Port receives A-Rating in 20 July 2017 Health Inspection

After a momentary stumble this past summer, we have worked hard to address all issues raised by the town and are continuing to work with them to move ahead.

Over the summer we hired a top food safety consultant who has worked in the New England Chinese Restaurant industry to help address the board’s concerns, and worked hard through the summer to address all issues that were raised.

And as the board’s director, Thomas McKean, explained in a detailed Letter to the Editor of the Cape Cod Times,  the “…violations observed were not serious enough to be considered an emergency nor were the violations serious enough to contact the director of public health.

On July 20, 2017 we received a clean bill of health, an A-Rating from the Barnstable Board of Health.

And despite rumors over the summer that we were shut down, our doors were never closed and we have remained open for business throughout.

So if you’ve been a customer before who’s been following our trials and tribulations and wondering what the story is, now you know.
